Terms of Sale
By purchasing from Canident, you agree to the following Terms of Sale.
1. Orders and Acceptance When you place an order, you're making an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order at our discretion — including in cases of suspected fraud, product unavailability, or errors in pricing or description. Quantities may be limited per person, household, or account. Once your order is accepted and dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email. Please note that once an order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled. The creation of a shipping label means your package has already been dispatched, even if tracking takes some time to update on the carrier's website — so at that point the order can't be canceled.
2. Pricing, Taxes, and Payment All prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise and may change without notice. Any applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, once relevant state tax thresholds apply. By placing an order, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge the full order total at checkout.
3. Shipping, Delivery, and Risk of Loss Processing time is typically 1–2 business days. Estimated U.S. delivery is 7–10 business days after dispatch — please treat delivery windows as estimates, not guarantees. Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping details. If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, a $8 reshipment fee applies for us to resend it.
Title and Risk of Loss: Title to and risk of loss for the products passes to the customer at the point of initial shipment from the seller's facility. Our logistics partners, including any U.S.-based warehouses or fulfillment centers, act solely as independent shipping agents and do not assume title or liability for the products. This provision governs the transfer of ownership and risk regardless of the place of delivery.
4. Returns, Refunds, and Satisfaction Guarantee
4.1 Unopened / Unused Products Eligible for return within 60 days of delivery. Items must be factory sealed, in their original packaging, and include all accessories (manuals, charger, tips, etc.). Unauthorized or incomplete returns may be refused. Original shipping fees are non-refundable, and the customer covers return shipping unless the item arrived defective.
4.2 Opened / Used Products For health and hygiene reasons, products that have been opened or used can't be resold or returned, so full refunds aren't available on opened items. Instead, you may apply for our 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee (below) after submitting the requested proof to our customer care team.
Fraud and Guarantee Abuse: Canident reserves the right to deny any claim that appears suspicious or abusive — including falsified photos or videos, inconsistent evidence, or product use outside the provided instructions.
4.3 Damaged or Defective Items Please report any issues with photos or video and your order number. Verified defective items will be replaced or refunded at our discretion.
5. Warranty Products are covered by a one-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the delivery date. This warranty doesn't cover normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, accidents, or unauthorized modifications. Remedies are limited to repair, replacement, or partial refund, at our discretion.
6. Product Use, Safety, and Disclaimers Intended use: Canident is an ultrasonic dental care device intended for at-home use to help remove plaque and tartar and support your dog's dental hygiene. It is not a medical device, is not a substitute for professional veterinary dental care, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any dental or medical condition.
Safe use: Use only as directed and in line with all provided instructions:
- Charge only with the included cable and a standard, undamaged power source.
- Do not use a damaged device, cable, or unauthorized adapter.
- Keep out of reach of children. Supervise all use on your pet.
- Do not use on a dog that is struggling, aggressive, or in distress.
Pet health notice: You are solely responsible for deciding whether this product is appropriate for your pet and situation. If your dog has a medical or dental condition, is on medication, is pregnant or nursing, or shows signs of oral pain, infection, or severe anxiety, consult a licensed veterinarian before use. If you notice any adverse reaction — such as bleeding, distress, injury, or unusual behavior — stop use immediately and consult a veterinarian.
No guarantees / results vary: Individual results vary depending on the dog, their dental condition, your routine, and how consistently the product is used. Canident does not guarantee specific outcomes.
Information accuracy: Product information on our website is provided for general informational purposes only and may contain errors or omissions. We reserve the right to correct or update information at any time. All products and content are provided "as is" and "as available."
Assumption of risk & limitation of liability: By purchasing and/or using Canident products, you accept full responsibility for proper use, supervision, and compliance with instructions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Canident and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from the use or misuse of the product or website. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Canident's total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to that claim. These disclaimers apply except where prohibited by law.
7. Disputes, Refund Holds, and Chargebacks If you open a dispute or chargeback with your bank or payment provider, we're unable to issue any refund while the dispute is pending, since the funds are frozen by the financial institution. Governing law: [State], venue [County]. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the AAA, with no class actions or class arbitration. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of your first purchase by emailing Canidentinfo@gmail.com.
8. Force Majeure Canident isn't liable for any failure or delay in performance — including shipping and delivery — caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, government actions, war, terrorism, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, pandemics, or carrier failures.
9. Severability If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force and effect.
10. Changes We may update these Terms of Sale at any time. The version in effect at the time of your order applies to that order.
